Alexander Willén is a Professor of Economics at the Norwegian School of Economics and a research network affiliate at the Center for Economic Studies/Ifo Institute. He received his Ph.D. in Public Policy from Cornell University in 2018.
Alexander's research focuses on the economics of education and labor economics. He has published in peer-reviewed outlets such as the Journal of Political Economy, the Review of Economics and Statistics, the Economic Journal, AEJ: Applied, AEJ: Policy, and the Journal of Labor Economics.
He joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in April 2023.
