Jaime Arellano-Bover is currently a Lecturer and Senior Research Scientist at Yale University, with a joint appointment between the School of Management and the Department of Economics. He is a labor economist and applied microeconomist with research interests in questions related to labor, firms, human capital, and migration.

Jaime received his PhD in Economics from Stanford University in June 2019. During 2019-2021 he was a Postdoctoral Associate at the Department of Economics at Yale University. Between 2021-2023 he was a faculty member at Tor Vergata University of Rome and the Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance (EIEF).

He carried out his undergraduate studies at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain), where he is originally from.

He joined IZA as Research Affiliate in May 2019.
